Nordic Voices Reviewed Again

Blowing our trumpet and banging our drum, we note that we received another favourable review - this time from BiblioBuffet:
Nordic Voices in Translation is a wonderful blog devoted to “the English translation of the literatures of the Nordic countries – Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden. And also Estonia.” Their translations include not only literature but pieces from new works be they fiction, drama, poetry and criticism. This is a rather impressive site.
Thanks, BiblioBuffet.

I'm also drawing the attention of the various contacts I have in Scandinavia to Nordic Voices in Translation, as one thing this blogsite does is focus people's attention on excerpts, magazines, publishers, etc.

And if Nordic publishers see that things are being done with serious literature, they will in turn help those of us that want to promote it by that very concrete form of promotion, translation itself.

That's why I think it's a reasonable plan to keep updating the blog on a regular basis - Nordic Voices is not a website after all, but a weblog with an archive, and it's good to keep fresh material and ideas coming in.

New posts are definitely welcome. :-)
